Parks Class

Why not find out more about Rosa Parks and come and tell us what you learn...

We can all learn so much from her actions and the way that she behaved.  Rosa Parks was never rude; she always conducted herself in a calm and polite manner, despite many people treating her unfairly.

We are named after Rosa Parks.  She was largely responsible for starting the Civil Rights Movement in America in the 1950s and 1960s which led to a more fair and just society for people of different races.

Mr. Henderson, Mrs. Stubbins, Mrs. French, Mrs. Usher, Miss. Thurston.

Rosa Parks has inspired us with her courage and determination to see injustice and inequality challenged.  She stood up for what she knew was right, even when other people tried to stop her.
